Article Of The Week!

We couldn’t be more excited to be chosen to do a guest article on TD Athletes Edge this week! For those of you who don’t know what TD Athletes Edge is, it was created by Tim DiFrancesco, who is the former head strength and conditioning coach for the Los Angeles Lakers. Tim is a doctor of physical therapy, strength coach, and a leader in incorporating both realms to improve performance and recovery.

Big thanks to Tim for letting us contribute to his site!

TD Athletes Edge’s three pillars for performance are training, nutrition, and recovery. Their goals are in line with what we are trying to do alongside Next Level Strength and Conditioning, to provide the ability to see our athletes and clients be successful across each aspect of their life.

The RPE Scale

Our guest article goes into using the RPE (rate of perceived exertion) scale with our athletes during strength training. We like to use the saying “If you’re not measuring, you’re guessing,” and that couldn’t be more true when it comes to gauging how athletes feel when they train. I won’t go into too much detail here, but you can read the full article at the link below:

Big thanks to Tim and his business partner Jed for allowing us to contribute to their site. Truly honored to be able to provide just a snippet of what we do on a great platform.
