Dr. Russ Manalastas PT, DPT, SCS, COMT, CSCS, TPI-M3
Dr. Russ started this company with the vision to provide care that far exceeds what athletes and active people are getting in the current healthcare system. He is a Board Certified Sports Clinical Specialist and strength and conditioning coach who focuses on hockey, golf, and baseball. He oversees the rehab for the Rochester Jr. Americans organization in the North American Hockey League (NAHL), the Bishop Kearney Boys Hockey Program, and Smash It Sports Baseball facility. Dr. Russ is also an adjunct professor in the physical therapy program at Nazareth University. In his spare time, Russ enjoys playing golf, weight training, and spending time with his wife Kat, 3 kids, and their dog Tala.

Dr. Zak Gabor PT, DPT, CSCS
Dr. Zak graduated from Ithaca College with his doctorate in physical therapy in 2015. Since then, he has been on a mission to help elevate and make an impact on the very mediocre standard of healthcare, that can sometimes do more harm than good. Through his education company started in 2018, The CALU Community, Zak has been able to help provide mentorship to over 2,500 students and new grads focusing on the key skills necessary to provide transformational healthcare: strong listening/communication skills, critical thinking skills, and exercise prescription skills. He also created and taught a strength & conditioning elective at a Boston based DPT program. In his spare time, Zak loves to play tennis, weight train, and spend time getting outside with his wife Steph, and dog Penny.
Performance Therapist
Dr. Jason Tuori PT, DPT, SCS, CSCS, USAW-L1, USATF-L1
Dr. Jason is a Board-Certified Sports Clinical Specialist and completed residency training at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy from SUNY Upstate Medical University in 2017 and has practiced in various outpatient orthopedics/sports settings. Clinically, Jason’s interests are in the management of hip, ankle, and running-related injuries. He has presented on the topics of running injuries, strength training, footwear, and returning to run following injury at the local, state, and national levels. He is the Mobilize Manager for the Running Special Interest Group of the American Academy of Sports Physical Therapy and contributes frequently to post-professional education for the group. He formerly worked as the sports performance coach for Rochester New York FC in the MLS Next Pro league, where his responsibilities included both strength and conditioning and sports science roles. He is a USA Track And Field certified running coach and enjoys working with runners of all abilities through the spectrum of rehab to performance training. He is an active peer-reviewer for several physical therapy and physiology journals. In his free time, Jason enjoys running, hiking, basketball, weightlifting, and buying new shoes.
Client Care Coordinator
Dr. Abigail Young PT, DPT
Abigail is the Client Care Coordinator where she is experienced in consulting with clients and assessing their needs. Abigail is passionate about helping clients get the best possible care in order to get back to their active lifestyles! She is a Rochester native, having grown up in the Victor, NY area. She received her doctorate in physical therapy in 2023 at SUNY Upstate Medical in Syracuse, NY. Abigail loves yoga, traveling, and spending time with family and friends!
